Company Background
PremierPR is a sole proprietorship which was launched in 2006 with the aim of executing public relations campaigns. PremierPR has now expanded its services into social media marketing as a vital component of marketing communications
Overseas Business Partnerships
PremierPR works closely with public relations service partners based overseas to provide PR services to their clients who wish to publicize their services in Sri Lanka and vice versa. PremierPR collaborates with The Practice India, a leading PR Consultancy provider who in-turn represents Porter Novelli Worldwide

PremierPR specializes and focuses on Public Relations and Social Media marketing. Each and every assignment is personally supervised by the Director of the company – Deepika Gunasekera who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in brand management, marketing, and marketing communications.

Deepika Gunasekera
PremierPR is headed by Deepika Gunasekera – a well-known marketing communication consultant with over 30 years of experience in Brand Management, Advertising, and Public Relations in multinational and blue-chip companies.
Deepika holds an honors degree in Mass Communication, Philosophy, and French from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
Soon after her graduation in 1992, Deepika joined the premier multinational Nestle as a management trainee in Marketing. She gathered an immense amount of knowledge and experience in marketing during her career at Nestle as a Brand Manager, which spanned over 5 years where she handled most of the well-known brands.
She has worked for other multinationals such as Caltex and Capital Maharaja, helping them to position their brands in a competitive marketing environment. Thereafter, Deepika launched into her PR career as a consultant at Rowland PR of Bates Strategic Alliance.
Deepika is a Business Writer who contributes to national media regularly on important and current topics which help to influence opinions and formulate national and regional policies.
She is also a member of BNI (Business Network International) – Kingdom Chapter
